Facebook Question - Problem

What I learned is you have to be logged into your personal account on Facebook since it is your primary account. Then you can hit the FB button for an image on FAA and there will be a dropdown menu in the FB box and you select "Share On A Page You Manage" and there you will find your Fan page. Select it and promote.

I post all links manually. I don't post everything I've uploaded. They may seem like spam.

Your fans do not want "spam" either. :) I do them all manually too.

I agree with Jessica and Sharon, it is overwhelming for people if you upload lots of images so I am selective and do mine manually. I also like to say something a bit more about the piece, the automatic posting is quite stark I think. I like to give each post a personal touch.

Facebook problem---on a similar note to what Roy stated,I try to like the pages of the members here from my Fan page so that in return if others like them, the likes go to the fan page and not my personal page. However I find I can't like the pages of some members when they like my page as there is no like button showing on their FB page. What do you think is happening?

I have a similar problem. I have my business fan page (counseling) and my arts business fan page. For some reason, I can't get the art facebook fan page linked. Both of my fan pages are listed on FAA, but when I turn the art fan page "on", nothing happens. Any ideas?

Sometimes you have to smack it around a little bit and turn off all the FAA FB linking, and then re-link from scratch. It just loses its way occasionally.

When logged into your fb account, pull down the drop down menu from upper right and pick your fan page from the menu "use facebook as" option. Then the image link you share from your artistwebsites will go to that fan page. You can confirm this before sharing when the faa window comes up, your avatar should match your fb fan page avatar and not your personal page avatar. Double confirm after sharing the link to your fb page by going to your fb fan page. -W

I really don't understand the idea of having a FB fan page.

You have your AW and then you build a FB fan page and you have to populate the fan page with you images form FAA and then you have to promote you fan page and your AW?

That does not make sense to me. Why nor use FB to promote your AW directly?

Why not just upload you images directly to your FB page and then share the images and links with as many people as possible, that go directly to you images on you AW, were they can be bought instantly?
