Unlike him, I celebrate every birthday I have and those I know and love, have.....what's better than celebrating another year of living regardless of the age?

Wow, Janine, I'm honored, thank you and thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday. We did, indeed, go up north this weekend, and being in the UP on the edge of Lake Michigan the "wifi" was more like "why try?" LOL, so I didn't even see this thread until this evening. Got back about 6:00 did laundry because all my clothes smelled like the greasy spoon where we ate breakfast, and I just separated out my photos. Some of them I think are great (but then I'm biased) and some of them, well lets just say it's a good thing Photoshop includes filters.....

I had a fantastic birthday, and I'm touched by all the well wishes, so here's a belated THANK YOU. (I had wifi withdrawal this weekend :-).

I won't say I'm old, but I now proudly carry a card in my wallet that says "MEDICARE" on it LOL.

omg, mary...did you get bombarded with cards?? I got 4 of them for part b, dental and drugs too! Two years later and I'm still not sure how they work!

I only got the main card, Marlene (figures it's unlamented paper - that's our tax dollars at work LOL). I have a stack of envelopes from AARP and someone else to pick a supplemental insurance. I'm hoping I don't get hit by a bus and I can pay for the 20% not covered until I pick something. At least I'm covered.....

I remember the phone book (literally that size book) HAP sent my husband. I haven't gotten anything that big, but I suppose once I make an inquiry, I'll get bombarded, as you did.

Well, thanks, Marlene. I still think young! Although the 6 hour drive yesterday has tired me out. I can't believe we used to do 14 hour drives in one day to go visit our son in college. I need to start getting back in shape (been working on it for a few weeks now).

Back to the day job.....(yes, I still have one of those ;-).
