Christian Church Art by Japanese Artist: Braislford Church In Splendid Nature

I simply adore the natural beauty of the High Peak and the surrounding area of Derbyshire. On top of this, the lovely Christian churches in this part of England really appeal to me because of the amazing landscapes in the background. Also, the tranquility to be found within churches is simply perfect!

Indeed, it reminds me of visiting quiet Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples in Japan but from different concepts. However, the binding factor is "love!"

I like the image and especially the POV.

I have to remark, you have leaned on western perspective in this work.

Over the rooftop, the trees fade. Interesting way to show the distance.

Hello Dave, in the pre-Tokugawa period one famous artist would play on the wrong flow of the river.

Mirage, reality, nature, ethics and so forth can be viewed through realism or imagination - or to challenge the way people see the world, or the inner self.

a prism?

btw there is a word for where a river has some back pressure, a wind or island, causing a ripple effect or a river flowing backwards.
I dont remember the word.
