Very noble idea Parker I admire you intentions.
I had a very wise and very old gentleman that spent his entire life in retailing. He told me to never give away my product. If you sell shoes (his line of business) you never give away shoes. You sell your shoes for all the money you can get. Then if you want to give something away, give away the money. That does not devalue your shoes.
With the exception of donating art to certain art auctions and charity events, I never give away art.
And when I donated to an auction, I always but a blind bid in for the retail value of the art. That way it never sells for less then it is worth. A lot of people know that and a lot of big spenders at these auctions hate to be out bid so they usually sell to one of these high rollers.
