Lightning Photography - Themed Thread

This was my second attempt at taking lightning photographs... I had the pleasure to photograph an amazing storm last night! The weather couldn't decide if it was going to follow the day's forecast and storm, so all day I was waiting for the forecasted storms to come. Then right before I went to bed, it thundered. I ran outside with my camera and waited for lightning to appear. I kept at it for a while. And then it happened. A massive strike of lighting danced across the sky right after I had pressed the shutter for a 30 second exposure. The colors were amazing and I couldn't wait to share it with you all!
