Hi Digital,
Don't wreck yourself with wanting others opinions on your work. Its great to get feedback as part of the sharing factor, and often can give good advice, but they will only see your work through their own experiences, .don't get me wrong, I love knowing what others see in my work, but I try not to let it affect the reason I did the work, unless i want specific help.
My thoughts were, why aren't there any dolls out there depicting a disability? It would help with acceptance of disabilities, as dolls often represent the general public, though some would disagree as most dolls are pretty,no scars, smiling, have all limbs, etc, etc.
Your woek is interesting, I can see that you are trying, frustratingly to express yourself. Who painted the avatar portrait? Its great! Why not try some abstract painting to release some of that artistic anxiety, it is very therapeutic and doesn't involve things....but moreso feelings, there's no expectations for it to look like anything except what you are feeling right now.
