How To Question

Hi, I've uploaded a new painting today. It is quite a large one (140X70cm).

However, when I upload it to one of the discussion threads (post your latest art)
it shows up on the screen very tiny.
Is there a way to have it show in a larger size?
thank you!!

Well there is but it's set to small so that it doesn't slow the thread down with so many images being posted. It's an etiquette thing for people with bad internet

look at the code, find the numbers, change the numbers to bigger numbers proportionally.

Yes - When you copy and paste your link to the discussion - you will notice there is a width=250&height=127'

Just change those numbers before you hit Post Reply and your image will post larger

Guys, she didn't use an FAA image link, she used the upload feature for original posts. It does make small pictures and can't be changed. Image links can be changed, but you need to know how to identify it in the code. I have posted complete instructions on how to use FAA and AW image links here http://james-toy.artistwebsites.com/blogs/how-to-use-my-images-on-your-website-for-free.html

James - she said she posted it in the "post your latest art" thread... not an original post.

Oops, I read it wrong. My bad. The instructions I link to still apply, though.

I tripled the height and width numbers

Mark is correct. If people want it larger they go to the image...

I had to try this. Wow! I did not know this could be done. I always wondered why some images in these discussions were so much larger than mine. Guess I had a bit of "image envy". LOL

But I learned something new today and that makes it a good day. Thank you!
