Magnetic Business Cards

Looking into getting magnetic business cards. Cheapest I could find comes out to about $.40 each. Do any of you use them and have you found quality at a better price? Thanks.

I think you can buy the magnet sheets and print them on your own inkjet printer.

My print supplier has them on sale right now, but they're right at .40 each for small quantities. You might call around to local print shops, sometimes they have trade accounts and may be able to do a little better.

Thanks, Cynthia. I made the mistake of buying another HP printer, even though every one I've ever had has been a piece of doo doo, high end included. It still works but I dare not feed it anything but plain paper.

You know, I have an HP Photosmart D7200 that I've had for years and that thing just keeps on going and would probably print on lumber. My large format printer is an HP too, but they're both over 5 years old (well over in the case of the large format) and I wouldn't be surprised if quality has changed.

Another solution would be to call around and see if someone can print on the magnet sheets for you. Most printers have inkjets that handle canvas and other substrates. It's certainly the cheapest way to go. Maybe even ask at an office supply store?

Have to make a run to the valley next week so I'll have a look at the print quality of their samples.

They do very nice paper/card stock business cards and fast delivery. It's a design yourself shop. I would imagine their magnetic cards are just as high in quality.

Joy, I used Vistaprint before and wasn't impressed but they are 8 cents cheaper than the place we can't mention.

Overnightprints.com. Been using them for years. I also use a trade vendor, 4Over.com. They're fantastic, but you have to be a business to use them.

Does Vistaprint still brand your business cards with their logo?

Vistaprint sucks. Their quality is terrible and their customer service is worse.

I use Uprinting for everything and they do magnets.http://www.uprinting.com/business-card-magnets-printing.html

With the price of those ink cartridges and the magnetic sheet I doubt you could do it yourself for the same and the quality would not be as good, if they get wet they will bleed too.

I mentioned VistaPrint because (not using the the service they advertise as "get free business cards") because I totally paid extra to design my own cards, pick my card stock, etc. I would imagine the freebies aren't that great, and that's why I didn't go that route. Cynthia, I didn't get any logo on my cards that said Vistaprint, BUT I can imagine them putting it on the 'free' ones, just to advertise their company. If you pay a little extra, the result is very nice.

I get my business cards from NextDayFlyers and they have been very high quality and good price. I don't know if they do magnetic, but if they do, I would recommend them.

MPix does business card-sized magnets. Not sure the prices.
