Photo Of Yacht Atalanta From The 2015 Swiftsure International Yacht Race

I just uploaded a photo of the off shore racer Atalanta just after it crossed the finish line in the 2015 Swiftsure International Yacht race on May 24, 2015. The yacht was originally called Ondine III.

Welcome!

Nice shot of the boat, but would prefer the entire mast/sails etc. Also, seems to be a bit over-sharpened, as do a few others. The rule of thumb, is to only sharpen in RAW or slightly in something like Photoshop and then leave it. The printer will sharpen the image if sold to that size. And also the price seems high too,

This photo was taken with a Sony A99 and a Tamron 70-300 zoom lens. Processed in Adobe RAW and Photoshop CS6. I have printed this image using a Epson Pro 3880 printer and on 17x22 Hahnemuhle Silk Baryta paper. There is no signs of the image being over sharpened.
When I shot this photo I was more interested in the action on the deck of the yacht and the reflection of the sails in the water.
