Summer In The Big City - Fantasy Cityscape

This is the 'day' version of my 'Summer Celebration' illustrations and just to make up for the lack of colour... here's my 'Summer Shades' abstract :)

Summertime, the grass is green the wheat ready to be harvested and a big summerstorm just is over ;)

A painting that I finished this morning... a Romany Gypsy theme. These caravans are a pretty sight in Summer.

summer in the Rocky Mountains, a good place to visit since it is 100 right now where I live!

Summer means Ice Cream, and in New England Ice Cream means Hood Dairy. Hood Dairy is owned by one of the minority owners of the Boston Red Sox, and most years the Hood Blimp spends the summer advertising the Dairy and beaming aerial video of Red Sox home games to NESN for broadcast across the region.

This image shows the ship over a light house in Long Island Sound. This is a digital composite image, while the ship did pass over the light house it was not as low as the image implies. Also the pulling lines have been removed for clarity.

Both of these were taken at Lake Erie, from different locations.

This one is always popular. I painted this on a day so hot the acrylics were like painting with quickly hardening mud.

Fresh Orange Drink
Nice large glass of orange juice,
just lovely to drink outside in the garden or on your holidays.
Decoration using a slice orange slice of lime and little colourful umberella.
