What Size Tote Bag Is Selling The Most?

I know we are not allowed to have official behind the scenes counts on this but some of us would like to know what size is selling the most of. If you can let us know what sizes you are selling the most of please share that info thank you. Some would like to buy one to offer at shows and this info would help those with try to pick the more popular size to offer. Thanks!

This is not an ''image thread'' so please do ''not'' add any tote images there are other threads for that. Thanks!

Andee, it could be good to see images of people with different size bags. Especially as someone felt her's were too big.

Barbara We kinda have a thread like that already.

I was just wanting to see the numbers of what size is selling most through onsite sales.

I haven't sold any yet, but I did buy the middle and larger sizes.
My guess, from my own selection, is that the middle size will win popularity.

The way I use my totes, the small size is too small. I think the 13x13 might work if you just want to tote a couple of books or just a few items.
The 16x16 is large enough to use for groceries, plane carry-on, beach tote without being too large.
The 18x18 turned out to not be as large as I had thought and is perfect for larger grocery purchases and as a beach bag can hold towels etc.

I have a review of my purchases.

I sold a 16x16. I also bought a 13x13. 13x13 is smaller than I thought. Wish I went with one of the other sizes.

Haven't sold any yet, but did order an 18x18 for my wife. It's done well carrying water bottles, snacks, a hand towel, bug spray, etc., to little league games this past week. The smaller sizes wouldn't have functioned in that capacity.

We have not sold any yet either, but expect eventually we will see some sales from this wonderful venue.

Mike I would think you would be marketing your gallery covers. Those I would think would make great tote bags esp for those in those industries. You would not have to promote them a lot just once or twice and see where it goes. I know you want to sell print more but you never know they might come for a tote and also get a print!

Thanks everyone that has joined in. I hope those that sell then will chime in.

Must not be many selling the totes that visit the forum I guess.

I posted a picture last week in another thread about totes. All three sizes. We live on the coast so the census around is is the 16 x 16 and of course the 18 x 18 for a beach bag. I really love them and can't wait to order more. The polyester fabric makes the colors pop.

I haven't sold one yet but if I were to buy one I think I'd go for the 16 x 16. I would get the 13 x 13 to use as a purse if it had a closure or inner pocket but I don't want to try affixing my own velcro as suggested in another thread. I feel like the 18 x 18 would be too large for most things I would need a tote for but 16 x 16 would be fairly versatile.

I would order an 18 x 18 for knitting projects. If I'm making something large (I make a lot of afghans) I would need the space. That would be a good target market. Advertise somehow for knit and crochet projects...

I haven't sold or bought any totes yet, but when I saw the sizes being offered, I immediately gravitated to the 16". I use cloth totes for grocery shopping, and with 4 in the family I can use a lot of totes at once. All of them travel with me inside a huge bag that I made for the purpose. The 18" might be nice for beach towels, but my experience is that grocery store baggers (the male ones - always) grab the huge bag, dump everything else out, and try to stuff all the groceries into the one bag. Smaller bags will keep them from doing that. Can't wait to get my own work on a bag!
