Twitter Feed Allowing "save Image As"

I have my account set to announce new images for sale on both Twitter and Facebook. I've noticed that the posts to Twitter allow a right click that shows "Save image as". Is there a way to protect my artwork from being copied if posted on Twitter in this way?

nope.
best you can do is make sure your images are small or watermarked. faa can only protect stuff that's in faa. there might be a picture setting over there, but save as - is usually an internal thing with your browser.

Thank you for the reply. I'll have to try to see if there are any settings I can change.

Hi, Deborah,

You can't fully protect any image on the Internet, but you can make them less interesting to illicit art-pickers by keeping them small. When loading to social media, I resize my images to 500 pixels on the longest side (some people make them even smaller). That way, someone might lift your image, but there's very little they can do with it.

That's one reason I don't use any of the 'automatic update' features; so I can control the size and look of posted images.

Of course, resize a duplicate of your image, while the original image is stored in a safe place! :-)
