Premium Upgrading

Hey. I'm kind of new to this (I only joined two weeks ago). I was wondering if anyone could tell me the pros and cons of upgrading to premium? I'm a 20 year old broke college student who lives with her parents. I joined this because I was hoping to find a way to make some money without having to get a job that would make me miserable over the summer, one that would be creative and give me joy without stressing me out too much. And I figured, hey, it's free, right? Well. I just hit my 25 picture limit. I guess I understand the reasoning behind this, but I wish I didn't have to pay to upload more photos. And since I haven't sold anything yet, I'm stuck in limbo about whether it's worth paying for premium.
This is basically a mayday call.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Do a quick search on both the site and the discussion boards on why folks think the 30 dollar charge per year is a great deal

Then start looking for a job. Selling photos on line is not easy and even if you sold ten pieces today, it would be July 15 before you got paid

i'll be honest - selling art is hard. your better working. something steady. you should earn the money to pay the $30 and upload more things. but it could take a while before you get any sales. you'll be advertising all the time, and maybe not getting anything for it.

your images are very small - too small. set the camera to the highest rez. add descriptions and keywords. and fix up the horizons. only post work you would buy yourself if you had the money.

art is stressful. i work 7 days a week, 15 hour days. i see the sun now and then, but if you think selling art is easy - its not. first you have to perfect your skills, then sell things. or you can open up a ton of free accounts. i would remove the walmart stuff on the bio. its a bit depressing. if you work at a burger place, they may let you take home food....

the main perk is - more space, a little perk in extras like frames, and your own website

the other reason you want a job now is - you need to add it to your work history for a real job. if you don't like walmart, i'm sure there are other places.

Upgrading doesn't mean you will sell anything. I'd get a job and consider any photo sales a bonus.

Some people have 5 images and have sold! because they have shared -twitter, facebook, pinterst- dozens of times and have hundreds or thousands of followers.
Share with proper hashtags and try to get the right people around social media. But first check your images size! 960 x 720 pixels can't be printed!

some have, but you don't know how or who they sold them too. there is one that only has 2 things. but started with dozens. but like any real store, you have to have many items or you narrow your audience way down. having lots of followers won't get you the sale. having fantastic work that everyone likes, gets you the sale.
