Use Of Html In Gallery Description

I've seen a few galleries that have colored text so I'm guessing there is a way to include HTML. However, when I try to add a line break between my paragraphs, nothing seems to work.

I've tried the code for paragraph , line break , and just plain return on the keyboard. They don't work.

Any suggestions, or can we not do this?

Abbie, ever since the changes to our AW sites, I have not been able to edit my bio or the side bar text on my AW. I can edit my bio on FAA but the changes do not go to my AW.
I get the OOPS message above. I'd love to be able to fix this as I have You Tube clips that are under my images and Tweet buttons etc that are not needed.

No you are not allowed to add many things to the aw now. People kept putting shopping carts in them. Or things that broke their pages

On a similar note, are we no longer able to use quotes and dashes in image descriptions? I have been using alt codes for this but they still show as black boxes with question marks.

Abbie, I just need to change my bio. I have not been able to do this since first upgrades took place on AW. Is there a way of doing this soon.
I feel it is important to be always able to upgrade bio on AW and also FAA.

Kaye, its the same bio. Just change it on the FAA side behind the scenes.

Thanks Heather, I did that but it doesn't change on AW.

I deleted the video clips on FAA and saved, but they still showed on AW..... OR perhaps it takes a while to change. I looked straight away, then added the clips back to FAA as they fit there.

Sorry I opened a new thread...I did a search on "html" and it brought up pages of non related stuff.

Why would someone put a shopping cart in the description or anywhere else for that matter, on our AW's? lol

Grrr...wish we could have this option. Oh well.

I use dashes / hyphens in my image titles and descriptions with no problem.
