New To The Site- How Do We Set Up A Paypal Account (or Being Paid By Cheque) With Fine Art America?

The drop down (see your name right hand side of the menu) has an area called BEHIND THE SCENES

In there are all the tools you need to set up your site

I strongly suggest opening every link and playing around before doing anything else on the site

You are looking for PAYMENT INFORMATION and TAX INFORMATION (if in the USA or you have an international EIN)

If we can be paid through PayPal, why can't we pay for Premium Membership with PayPal?

Travel Pics, I have the same question. I have searched the discussions and found that the question keeps getting avoided, so I will ask again:

If Paypal is the only acceptable way we artists can be paid by FAA, why then will FAA not accept Paypal for our premium membership payment?

I have been making a concerted effort to use less credit. I LOVE using Paypal online because it comes right out of my checking account. I know the funds are there already to cover it. It does not seem right that we should not have that payment option here.

Sean will not change the way we pay for the premium at present. There was no reason given. He normally has a good reason for things he does

Valerie - Do you not have a card from your bank for your checking account? Most debit cards have a Visa/MC logo on them - that means you can use them places as you would any other credit card. Money comes from the same checking account Paypal would get it from. While I'd love to use my PayPal account to pay the fee as well since that's how I get paid for my client work, not just FAA, I just use my debit card - no credit use required.

Being able to pay from Pay Pal would be awesome as I try to pay for everything photography related from money made from photography. It's one less thing.

Thanks, Heather. Believe it or not, I don't. I know I must be the last person in the U.S. not to have a debit card. I really prefer to use actual cash when making store purchases. One less way for the crooks to get access.

I don't have a debit either.

Paypal themselves have a debit card for business accounts. I use mine for most things now
