Ramya, there is no substitute for one-on-one instruction. However, I would advise looking into your local community colleges for art instruction instead of private tutoring, unless you really know the person who claims to be a tutor. It's dangerous out there. And you can experience great camaraderie and inspiration from being in a classroom with other students. Plus, continuing education fees are usually reasonable. Good luck!
