I'd send your own card and let them know something special is coming their way soon....
I don't even know if there is an option to leave out the product receipt...which would be pretty awful to send with a gift to someone....

But ,I prefer to send a card with the gift that would be a nice way to tell the recepcint who has sent the gift and write a nice message .I don't know why customer service don't reply to my messages .I feel a little embarrassed how can I send a gift wihout card !

I apologize. I thought you wanted to solve your problem. I understand now, that yours is a complaint.
Customer service isn't so speedy....there is a toll free phone number on the home page that can be used.
Good luck

Islah...you have(had) the option of ordering a greeting card from the same artist along with the canvas print you purchased and saying anything you like on the greeting card .

Tom, I think Islah is talking about a complimentary message to let the one who is receiving the gift, who know it is from.....very basic request that should be an faa option ALWAYS

Is there a huge demand for such cards? I've never seen this one before...

Most online stores give you a box to click when you place the order: Is this a gift? [ ]yes [ ] no. If you click [x] yes, you get another box where you can write a short message to the recipient. Such as, "Happy Birthday Susan, Love, Bob & Jane." And they automatically include a gift receipt without the price, instead of a normal receipt.

It's kind of expected for larger online retail businesses to do that, since so many people buy their gifts for long-distance friends & relatives online.

I know we like to think we're special because we're selling art... but to someone looking for gifts, we're just another place to get a nice gift for Susan online. They expect the same level of service as the places that sell pink fuzzy slippers with bunny ears or lego kits.

I have only ever seen this on one shop online Cheryl, Amazon.

I have been offering a free gift card and free gift wrapping for years. I think I have had two, maybe three people ask for it.

It is a not issue as far as I am concerned. Rather see limited resources go to things that would create more sales myself.

"I just have ordered an oil canvas"

FAA does not sell oils on canvas. If you bought one through FAA you actually bought it directly from the artist and they will be shipping it. Ask them to supply that service.

It actually would be a good idea to allow for a complimentary message/card with a purchase of prints, pillows, IPhone cases, etc. and also an option not to include the price with gift purchases. Perhaps, it should be added to the wishlist?

Floyd, he probably means a print of an oil painting, or he would not be dealing with FAA customer service.

Again, never seen a request for this on this site before. In four years. Floyd's seen it three times total, in his business which is well, several years older. The owner hasn't seen a need. The site's social manager has never seen a need...

I would also suggest that with tens of thousands of images sold, even a small percentage of those wanting to send cards could be bit more work then one would think. Would anyone be willing to pay for that service for your buyers? I would not.
