i'm not sure what your asking.

for now study the art of photography, and capture things that other people can't do themselves. keep in mind anything you post is something your willing to put on your own walls.

Art Prints
so things like an out of focus wet floor sign

Photography Prints
or a picture of what is basically nothing.

anything you post represents yourself in some way. post things that you would personally frame and place on a wall. if you can't think of a location, then you'll have a hard time selling.

change your bio. your talking directly to the customer, and hoping you will sell, and that your a beginner etc, doesn't leave a good impression. you should update your avatar, you really don't want a door in the background. go for at least a wall.

Hi Zachary, welcome!

Let me know how that yellow floor sign sells. I myself do not have any shots of yellow floor signs for sale. My advice would be to take an hour or two and take a good look at some of the photos here

Closed account. That didn't last long.

I think the toughest thing to learn is how to actually view your own work without listening too closely to friends and family. I feel like folks come here and think we're just putting their work down for no reason

When someone says they like photography I wonder if they just like pushing buttons. To really understand photography takes dedication and work.

Well hopefully he won't give up that easily. I was going to suggest Flickr and then perhaps down the road he came back to FAA.

he did ask....

many think that photography is super easy and all you have to do is post anything you see and it will sell. if your reading this zach, you have to have a thicker skin than that. i would upgrade to a camera though.

Several of the links in the second post lead to 404s. (those on Abbie's site).
