More Big Format Stuff

A bit more colour in this one. I have subsequently darkened it up under the riders right arm, and modified the exhaust. Is there too much saturation in the colours as posted?

Awesome! I like you're doing different vehicles types. Good action and pose. I ride sportbikes and have ridden many wheelies like this! :) IMO, there is no need to bring red or any color into the shadow, it detracts from the bike and looks out of place. I'd also like to see the bottom of the fairing better defined. It's a little muddled looking.

Cool work, keep it up.

Thanks John - I agree about the fairing and will touch that up a bit. Keep on biking. I used to ride pillion with my brother which scared me witless! I stick to four wheels now.

Very nice!

Since I no longer ride motorcycles, is the angle true to form? If he's in a turn, would he be doing a wheelie like that? Since the ground goes up on the right, looks like a sharp right turn.....

Something is off about the angle of the rear tire, the shape of the rim and tire should match the angle of the fairing. I also believe the rear tire should be larger.

Chaps - see the Ian Hutchinson photo at the link above. He rides the same bike as Guy Martin, so I transposed the bike colours, helmet and overalls. See what you think - for me the back wheel is pretty close. As for the scenery it started as a shadow as John alluded to and I added in a smear of green and brown to give the allusion of the brow of a hill. Remember guys that this is all painted freehand with a palette knife, with no under drawing or projectors etc so don't expect dimensional perfection or you will definitely be disappointed.

PIB,

I think that part of the problem, is that you have the cowling down too far on the tire, now that I've seen the Ian photos. The angle still seems off a bit from the other photos,as a comparison. The wheel, frame, cowling doesn't seem to line up,
