The woman who objected to this painting identified herself and we talked about why it disturbed her so much. She is not at all foreign to art, being herself an artist, and musician. She claimed there was "something about it" that moved her deeply and scared her, which may have had nothing to do with the subject or rendition. The controversy was not her objection, it was in the discussion that took place following, and was never stated as something to make headlines. The point is not to judge her, but that the painting is a powerful image that can stir peoples emotions.

Marlene, not yet. $1,200 for the original, prints as per FAA. I live on a boat, getting ready for a world art tour, and this is one of the ones I a taking to show.
... and in defence of the guy who bought it and swapped it back. He is a friend who has bought several of my paintings and will no doubt buy more. He had his reasons. We are all friends who play music together and attend each other's parties. There is no reason to judge or speculate on anyone's psychological state.
