Truncated Title In Header Of My Website

I noticed that FAA changed the appearance of my site and wiped out the header image I had there previously. Then I noticed that the title had been truncated. Instead of reading "Pat Moore Photography and Pencil Drawings" it now says "Pat Moore Photogra". I added a new background image and tried to change the text to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution? I had a nice site and now it looks very amateurish. I'll keep working on a fix but wanted to see if you had any suggestions. Here's the site: http://pat-moore.artistwebsites.com/

This thread might help you. http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=2159912

The Artist Website has had a major overhaul. Many things can be done now that we could not before.

You can change the title or change font. Sign in- edit website appearance, on the left side is header click on the logo tab and change your text and font there. There is a drop-down where you can choose logo or text. If you want a wider header you can increase the padding.

Thanks for the responses. In the thread Andee mentioned I tried to find the option to go back to Version 1. I couldn't find it.

I followed Jessica's directions and was able to ge to the Logo Type option. I'd prefer to keep it as text but the system still truncates what I enter. I can't figure out how to tell it I need to display more characters.

you'll have to keep it short. there is no way around it. they keep changing the site so its long then short and back again. best to keep it short.

Pat after January 1st we all have to use option 2. Hope you can get it to work like you want it to.

I wound up creating a logo. It looks tacky but I don't see any other way around it. Thanks for the suggestions.

Pat try a PNG file with no background with only your text and see if you like that better.

I added padding to make the field wider.

I think I got my prints size up to 25, still had to rein it in.

David, the only options I could find for padding were vertical. I've experimented with changing from 5x to 25x but it doesn't seem to affect the amount of text I can display. I've had to go down to 14px to get it to fit.

Andee, I'll try the PNG.

I really had a nice header the past few years. Sure wish I could get it back.

You can also upload your own header with text

Uploading a header with text on it, the text will disappear on smaller screens or if someone with poor eyesight has the page zoomed in. You can try this out by zooming your page yourself. Then you can see the banner disappear with each zoom as well as the money back guarantee link. And if your name was attached to the banner itself it will not be fully visible at some point.

For the moment the PNG text looks okay. I'll keep experimenting with the background image. I really appreciate all your suggestions.

Unrelated question - David has a link on his site that shows recently sold work. I can't figure out how to configure mine to show that.
