Fantastic - listen to the kids - turn up volume!

To you secretaries, commercial school grads, computer experts---this is for you and your kids and your grand kids....best I've seen for long time...Look at the watches they're wearing too.. What a smile!!!!

Good advice, Jennifer -- but the kids are probably too busy reading comic books on their I-Pads to give it a second thought! :)

That put a smile on my face...seeing the reaction of those kids of what to make of the typewriter.
Reminiscing my typing lesson in high-school, and how we make our book reports. A blast from the past.
Thanks Clif for the share. I enjoyed it.

In high school they had typing class (keyboard familiarization to you youngsters) and as you walked by you would hear 20 or more typewriters ding at the same time as they tried to get you to type in a rhythm. IBM selectrics with correction came out in the early 70s and revolutionized business hiring standards for secretaries and outdated the dicta-phone, shorthand, and helped boost copy machine innovations.
10 years later EVERYONE had a personal computer with at least 64K memory and "floppy disk" storage.
When my son tells me my generation can't even use a cell phone, I quickly remind him it was our generation who invented that cell phone and EVERYTHING he is using in technology and that his generation only ads slight improvements using education (that costs more for useless degrees) paid for by my generation. He clams up and goes back to typing with his thumbs on facebook.
