How Do You Meet Art Collectors?

I live in a place that people are generally not interested in art and even less in buying it. We don't have that many art collector gatherings, exhibitions etc. My only chance is online marketing. Travelling would cost me a fortune.

How do you meet buyers, art collectors and promote your work? I can use some tips.

Thank you!

I admit I do it all online, as I have neither the time nor mental resilience to deal with "live" promotion, at the moment. I will say that if there is no local market then my suggestion would be to do the same as it's enough of a struggle to sell your own work without trying to build an "art culture" by yourself. JMHO and maybe I am being too skeptical, as I am very tired as I write this.
I am sure you will get some great advice from others in a few hours once the board wakes up again. :D

Hire an agent. They will do your marketing and selling for you while you spend your time creating.

In FAA your original painting prices are way too low and I would also up your print prices. You have nice work!
(In your bio I would put the artist first and then the photographer.)

How does low prices negatively impact sales?

Lovely work! It needs to be seen. Use Twitter, Pinterest, whatever you can to get your work seen by as many as possible.

Unfortunately, most of us are asking the same questions: How to get customers?

And do raise prices so that when you get a sale, it means something.

It's buyer psychology. People assume that art that is priced low is not worth much.
