Both of my girls came into my life much like the way Forest came into yours, which makes the bond between us and them all the more meaningful. Forest was loved, very much, and he knew that. May you find solace in that as you say 'good-bye' to your beautiful friend. ♥ ♥ ♥

I want to thank everyone here for your kind support, I saved Forest and he in a way saved me I found him badly injured on a country road and I nursed him to health but it was just after my mother had passed and my wife and I were devastated by my moms passing and then Forest came into our life and gave us so many moments of pleasure it was a big help to us .

I am sorry to hear that Gerald, its the one part of owning animals that I don't love, letting them go.

You have my deepest sympathy, Gerald. I love my cats like family. Saying good by is always so hard. Try to find comfort in knowing that you gave him a wonderful life. I'm sure he new he was loved.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost our kitty "Baby" last fall. We were on vacation and she was an out door kitty and our neighbor who was taking care of her found her and called us. We think she was attacked by coyote. My heart goes out to you and your family, it's so hard to lose a furry family member. :-(

I feel so sorry for you and your loss, I've been there many times. I always adopt another and now I have three beloved furry cat friends. They all fight, they all scratch and demand my service, they are the worst behaved cats at the vets office, but they love me unconditionally and I suppose that is what you miss the most. I held my last cat as he took his last three breaths and I fear death no more as a result. With each and every one of them, (my dogs cats, friends, and family) they always look back at me. This always puts a tear in my eye...so hold strong. Get another furry friend fast. And hold them in their last seconds...they always look back at you. You'll thank me later on this note.
