Cannot Upload Any More Images ?

I've successfully uploaded 46 images, but now I can no longer upload any more images. What is preventing this? I already paid $30 for one year membership, and unlimited uploads.

What happens when you try to upload?

Thank you both for your concern. After I browse and select an image by opening it, only then when I click on "upload image" nothing at all happens, no error msg, nothing.

Another thing. All the images came from the same digital file. I was able to upload about 5 images from that file, then no more. Also no uploads can be made from any other picture files I have.

i don't get how your uploading images from the same file? i can only assume you have a file format issue of some kind. if the file is too large sometimes it hangs. usually it tells you something.

Thanks Mike. Yes I was able to upload 5 images from a single file of 30 images yesterday. Now today I cannot upload any images from any files. Does Fineartamerica have some kind of "gotoassist" where their technical experts can get onto my desktop and see exactly what is wrong?

there is only 1-2 people in tech support. i just don't see how you can get 5 images from 1 file. that's the first i heard of that. you can write to tech support (under about/contact), but it may take a while before they respond. abbie is a part of the tech help she might be able to help.

but they can't go on your desktop - nor should that feature ever on in your computer. because its an invite for any hacker to come in as well. its the first thing i disable.

"5 images from a single file of 30 images" - really?
How were you doing that?
The most you can upload is 5 individual files, uploaded separately. there is no bulk uploader.
Answer to your remote desktop is no.

I am going to give you a pass and reduce your fee to just $30 a years. Surf on dude!!

"5 images from a single file of 30 images"

Sorry, I'm new at this. I used my camera yesterday to take about 30 pictures of my work. Then I connected my camera to my pc and it downloaded all the new photos into something (which I thought was a file) that has the date on it. That is how my pictures are saved in "something" that has a date and are in numerical order under "pictures".

Does that clarify it? Thank you.

I have been to Waimea, Oahu, several times and just standing on the beach and watching these monstrous waves scare the living hell out of me!!

John, you mean "folder".

Thanks for the kind words Floyd. I've never seen the big waves live, only in video or photos.

I think John is saying he uploaded files from the same folder. That shouldn't be what your problem is. It could be your computer or internet. Try clearing your cache, cookies and history. Then go to your profile page, click on images tab and then upload file. It's a long shot but, see if that works.

John Kaelin

Exactly Jim, thank you. I've been able to upload any images from any FOLDER until today. Now nothing uploads from any folder.

John Kaelin

Thank you Jennifer, that is what I will try next.

There are glitches on the upload sometimes, John but it shouldn't make any difference from where you are uploading them. Are they all under 25MB?
Have you tried just using the single file upload to see if that works?
Otherwise I would say close your browser or try another browser to see it that makes a difference and then finally, the old IT favorite, reboot your computer and see if that works :-/

First day I was at Waimea I was lying on the beach under a tree, trying to stay out of the sun. All of a sudden "thunk", a huge coconut hits the sand about 6 inches from my head. I was lying in an old coconut grove that is right on the beach but abandoned.

My father-in-law that lived in Hawaii for 25 years had told me that morning before I left the condo to make sure I do not lay under a coconut tree. Idiot that I am, I thought he said that because there was not all that much shade.

Sitting around the patio drinking umbrella drinks of some kind that afternoon I told my father-in-law about that and said you should have elaborated a bit. My mother-in-law got this horrible look on her face and said, oh my God, my daughter married this fool!!

Can you imagine how awful that would be? Lying on the beach, watching the most spectacular waves in the world, beautiful day in paradise and getting killed by a damn coconut?

What browser are you using?

I have my best luck with Chrome... IE is awful. FireFox is in between.

John Kaelin

My browser is internet explorer, let's see what happens if I try Chrome

I already cleared cache, cookies, and history, and rebooted, and still not working, but maybe Chrome?

UPDATE - GREAT. Thank you, using Chrome for browser did the trick.

Thank you friends.
