Thanks Cheryl. For all the electronic games out there today, when kids come visit my gallery they really like the board games. That table is a Doctor's Examining table from my wife's grandfather. It had 19 coverings on it, one over the other, right down to the horse hair stuffing when I refinished it. We have two.

Nineteen coverings?! That's not a table... that's a prop from a "Princess & The Pea" production!! Dare I ask....?

My son does his homework at a desk that was made by his great-grandfather's (who is about to turn 100 this month) father's friend. Sorry, that's confusing. Anyway, the desk is a little beat up, but as far as I can tell it still has it's original covering. The original covering is a lot beat-up, I think it spent some time in said great-grandfather's machine shop.

BTW it looks like you did a beautiful job of refinishing the table.

That is very nice corner with antique table and chairs. old and new mixing great design, practical as well. love the style.

Thank folk,s that is about 1/3 of one wall and there is another wall opposite a bit shorter. My offices are there as well. It is a very nice space and shows well.

Ah, thank you. I tell people I had a misspent youth.

Your book made me think of my childhood.
Well, I didn't grow up in a farm. We, me and my husband are more like city people. NJ, Boston, NY, etc.
I used to stay at my Grandmother's house in the country every summer when I was a little child.
It was a farm house near the ocean in a quaint fishing village.
That experience stayed in my heart forever. Persimmon trees over stonewall with black tile roof over it.

Sounds like a painting. My son Brad lives in Bushwick Brooklyn where he is a fashion designer.

Thanks again. Yes I enjoy my gallery/studio. The downstairs portion of the home is mostly mine. (art wise). Upstairs we have what we jokingly call the "real" art.
