2 Abstract Photos- Marmite?

Hi,
People either love or hate Marmite. So what do you think of these abstract photos please? I won't be offended if you think they're complete rubbish.

Hi Patrick
When I read the title of your post, I was'nt familiar with the word of "Marmite".
So I google searched it.
mar·mite
ˈmärmīt/
noun
an earthenware cooking container.
But if its like a technique in art form, I like it. Your works has lots of texture and brush strokes, great work. Keep creating Patrick.
Goodluck,

Hi,
They're actually photographs! I could have left out the Marmite wording. Marmite is a food spread, the companies main advertising for it is you love or hate it.
But my photos don't into your interpretation too.
Thanks,
Pa

I was hoping to see some photos of Marmite since I never had it so i can't give you my opinion . Have you ever try stinky tofu?

My dad likes Marmite. He is an Irish immigrant.

It is the yeast from the bottom of a brewing batch, keg.

Spreads well on toast.

I am not particular to abstracts. You work is not decor. Your work has no deeper meaning.
Your work has odd colors. Your images might not be in focus. You'd have to hear from
Mike if they will even print these images, his opinion only of course. I am not qualified to say,
but my guts says probably not.

Do I like them? not really.

Let me ask you, how much work did you put into this?

I am curious, because if you put a lot of work in I am sorry I said anything. People here often
put in a lot of work. So if I am the fence I hold my tongue to respect their efforts.

Patrick,

Welcome. I like your shots of Ireland. An objective set of captures. Very nice work.

Someone who was not born or raised in Dublin was taking great shots of Ireland a while back,
but he just did not understand the character. Could have been any European capital.

I have been to Galway a few times on vacation with cousins. I like this shot. Good luck, Dave

Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned Marmite; getting sidetracked.

I shot a lot of abstract (http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/patrick-dinneen.html?tab=artworkgalleries&artworkgalleryid=433912) , for these two shots they're a bit more abstract than my usual. So I wanted to get some opinions on them; what people thought and do they have the potential to sell (very subjective).

The first one has grown on me a lot, I like how it looks like a painting, the strokes, the pattern.
The second one is meant to be like a minimal, abstract photo. It reminds me of an artist whose name I can't remember...

@David- I didn't put along time effort into them. Kind of trying something new.

Cheers,
pa.
