The Best Place In Europe To Sell In The Streets

I am trying to find out about the best city, specially in Europe, to sell in the streets. By "the best" I mean a city where artists are free to sell in the streets or where it is easy to get licence for it...

...in order to be able to sell my hand made photographic prints from large format pinholes cameras. They have about the size of post cards but with a crafted look. And I assume it could be sold to tourists and visual art collectors. They are most images of landscapes, cityscapes and still. I am willing to move anywhere for it.

This is something I have being trying here is Freiburg (Germany) but the guys in cityhall told me they don't give permission for such kind of work but only clothes and food stands in sessional period and holydays only. :/

So please, let me know if you know the answer. :)

Parts of Greece maybe? They've got so many other problems they likely can't afford to be enforcing things like that even if they've got rules. Plus a large format pinhole shot of the Acropolis would be amazing.

Not only that, but I know for a fact that many Americans have been discussing visiting Greece due to the fact it's so incredibly cheap just now. Sadly I don't have time to til next Spring at the soonest.

Thank you Isabella. I got into this page: https://www.gov.uk/market-stall-licence/city-of-london
And I sent a email to London city council asking for information about licence. I hope the point me to a direction. :)
I know in London and near by they have many markets. I have being in Candem street and thinking a lot on it.

Joshua,
I guess only tourists can afford spend money on prints in Greece since most people seem to have being bankrupt. Greece is beautiful but it doesn't seem the right place at the moment to try earn a living.

I have thought about Prague because I saw a bridge full of street artists and full of tourists. But since I don't know their language I couldn't find any information, at least not in English or French.

Most of the cities in France have some sort of art market, and these allow most types of art techniques. You will have to address the local tourist offices as an initial contact - can be done by email.

I was suggesting Greece due entirely to it's tourist market. I'm not convinced large numbers of locals, in any city anywhere, buy specialty art from street vendors outside of annual arts shows.

At the moment: Art=Berlin

Have a look at the street markets around the Museumsinsel.

Thak you a million Isabella.

Andy, thank you for the sugestion. I will try to find the autority contact in Strasbourg, the biggest French city near where I live.
I hope they allow one to have te permition while living in Germany, because I once tried living in Frence and it was impossible. Landlords wanted me to prove I had money up to 1 year for the rent, or a good job, and I didn't had both. So I had to gove up living in Frence (Alsace to be more precise).

Joshua, you are right. But I have the impression that Greece is not a easy place to live at the moment. I hear they have shortage of some foods and other goods, violence and so on. But I will research about.

Colin, I don't know why but I feel Hamburg more attractive between both. I feel that in Berlin there are so many artists that I would desapear amoung them. Berlin scares me for a reason I don't know. It looks so far from the main cities on the west.
Here a link I found about berlin: http://www.vice.com/read/artists-no-longer-welcome-in-berlin
