Thank you everybody for your warm wishes for my new family members.
Hiya Gay. I remember you too. Glad to see you joined the largest and best artists website. I have been here since 2007.
@ Dave. You are absolutely right.
I have heard so many stories about how great it is to be a Grandpa or Grandma because when all is said and done, when they start crying in the middle of the night, wreck the living room, spill their food all over the floor, their parents will have to deal with it while we are at home sleeping in our nice warm and quiet beds.
Side note: Yesterday when we went to the hospital to see the little angels, I asked my son to go to the cafeteria to get a cup of coffee while the women talked. As he was pouring himself a cup of cappuccino I looked him square in the eyes and said, "Kevin, I love you." I know I said that to him dozens of times when he was a little boy but I don't remember ever saying that to him when he was an adult. I have always said I love you to my daughter, but I don't think I said that to my sons when they reached adulthood. For all you guys out there with adult sons, tell them that you love them. It is not a sign of weakness. My father never said that to me.
And BTW, Kevin said, "I love you too Dad."
