A Visit From A2?

What is the IP address?

No idea, is there a way to see the IP address in our Visitor stats?

When people are setting up their profiles, they can type anything they want into the place where you enter where you're from. You could put "Oz" or "Third Planet From the Sun" on your profile, and when you visit people, that's where it would look like you're from.

Thanks Cheryl, to be honest, I didn't know how it picked up the location. When I look at my own photos, the location that comes up from my own view of the image, is one that I have never actually typed in. It's not even a part of my address.

Although that explains some really old threads on this subject that I didn't read very carefully... so maybe I should have known that.

Those of us in Michigan refer to Ann Arbor as A2 (as in "A squared").

Just a thought.

I've had visits from A2 before, and normally I'll check weird IP addresses just to see where it's located. In the case of A2 I didn't do that.....but I will next time. :)

Natalie, post the picture that you are talking about and one of us will check out the ip address for you.

Tom, how do you find the IP address? As does anyone know why a Virginia address would come up as A2?

To find the IP address you hover over the location.

ok ,more unusual than " a2 "...2 images that show some one visited but is blank next to the date and no ip address available.
