Frank Got Me Into Linkedin

Folks here and there some of you will want jobs.

Frank got me into LInkedin. I am not currently job seeking at all.
I keep getting a monthly or biweekly job posting email from Linkedin.

Some folks may want to join Linkedin.

The latest job postings. Remember most of these companies train folks.
The best posting in this lot is probably at the Travelers. I have a friend in the computer
room who does this type of work. He is a manager now.

Hahahahah!!! David, I read your title as well and had to laugh. It's all about helping each other make it through life.

My parents exampled to us kids growing up how successful people help others to become successful. But by gosh, David, turn off those job alerts if you don't need them ... you have more valuable things to do!!

EDIT: I keep the alerts on, by the way, and pass them on to others in my LinkedIn network whom they can be valuable too. Remember, on LInkedIn, its not who you know ( your connections ) its who knows you ... and who they know.

Frank,

I get a kick out of job postings tailored to me. When I was looking for office work way back when
it was impossible to figure out where to look next.

Unrelated but coincidental,...Funny thing,...

Just this morning in my me-mail...

A job agency somehow found my old resume online,
A company that employed me back in the late 1960's..... listed on that resume now has a similar opening.

This agency (its computers) anyway,...even after over 50 years thinks I'm still eligible and looking.

Maybe I should come out of retirement.

At least I know there not guilty of age discrimination.

Marty,

That is funny. Thinking date change Y2K where the computers needed updating.

Is updating for age....age discrimination?

Can of worms.
