It's so interesting to me that you posted that quote because about 20 years ago I was at a national forum of artists and the subject of painting skies came up.

After discussing how the presenter accomplished different sky paintings I realized that one particular color hadn't been discussed so I asked (you guessed it) "What about green skies?" He paused a moment and then answered "Green skies? There are no green skies!" and everyone laughed. I may be wrong but I have seen green skies and thank you for that quote.
