Artist Name In The Art Work

Hi,

Here is my artwork page http://srinivasan-venkatarajan.artistwebsites.com/

Please see the placement and my name in the picture. Please let me know whether you think putting my name in the artwork or placement at at specific corner will discourage buyers. Appreciate your time & inputs.

Thanks in advance.

Your link doesn't work

I looked at a few of them and I think a different color that blends in would be better. I think it is too close to the bottom. and perhaps a smaller size...you have a long name. You want your signature to be found...not jump right out as the first thing you see.

agree with Val, although my signatures are all the same colour on mine :)

I don't care for typeset signatures. It would give me pause before purchasing a print.

i like them on the lower right in a more attractive, less cartoonish font, but the size is ok. i use alexa copperplate i think, its a script font that's readable. and fade it in the corner. you don't want it on the edge, or the frame might cover it, or it will be cropped off of things.

Recommendation: never sign the face of the image--doesn't belong and always gets in the way of the composition.

you have to sign the front. we can't sign the back.

I don't sign because that is what I as a buyer would expect:
Signature on original artwork is very welcome because it also is an ORIGINAL signature.
Signed prints I would never buy, looks cheap in my eyes and disturbs the overall impression.

But that is only my opinion. May be others like printed signatures.
