though the joke is sort of on him, they sold off all their extra companies to focus back on their own company. imagekind is now owned by a billboard company now, wondering what's going on with that.

LOL, it doesn't show unless you're signed in. I wonder if he made bets with someone that nobody here would notice LOL.

Edward Fielding

Personally I don't understand the focus on Cafepress. Joke or no joke.

Valerie Reeves

That's even funnier, Mary...so it's a joke just for us then!

And what if the joke was that it really WAS sold to cafepress?

Peggy Collins

Good one! I'm so gullible I probably wouldn't fallen for it if you hadn't posted this thread first.

Edward Fielding

Chuck - I guess watch the stock ticker and see if the news is greeted as a plus or minus.

Yes so what's the joke about Cafepress? I know that Imagekind is also Cafepress.

CafePress.com sells T-shirts, bags, mugs, wall clocks, calendars, and a myriad of other products.[2] Customers can upload their own graphics design, logo or text, which will be added to the product by CafePress. CafePress.com also offers print on demand services for wall art and stationery. The site also allows the user to have a virtual CafePress "shop" including an online storefront and website hosting, order management, fulfillment, payment processing, and customer service.

CP sold IK.

Edward Fielding

Its a strange sense of humor because this seems to be the direction this site has been headed.

Jessica Jenney

I know JC but I still don't get the joke! My payments from Imagekind are paid by Cafepress.
Is this Sean's sense of humor or what?

Sean,

Very funny.

While you are proving you can alter the logo, how about changing your logo from
from your URL fineartamerica to something that is a logo and would work
well on smart phones?

Fine Art America

which would fold up on cellphones to

Fine Art
America

Sean,

Does this mean that since you've posted the name of a competitor's site, we can do the same??

Abbie Shores

Joseph C Hinson

It's a joke, Roger. Chuckle at it and move on.

Frank J Casella

Thanks for pointing this out, Priya, as I'm always on Pixels so would not have noticed it.

Good to see our owner has a sense of humor and relationship with us to share it.

I'm hoping that 5% Commission link is a joke too.

Glenn,

An old article by Sean, nothing more. It seems to be a bit of steering, not really a threat.

I'm just happy the site was fixed. Orders are starting to come in again.

David,

I remember that article quite well. Been here for awhile.

But Sean referred to it yesterday during a serious discussion... and then once again today...
