as long as your allowed to add actual code to the page - that's all they want. but be sure to know that your only getting a link to the search, and you may not be the one on that line, when they click the link. you would be much better of with a direct link to your images and page.

Yes it redirects to the first page result of artworks and there is little chance of being in the first page. But there is no choice if you want to be on the search result.

For now, my images have not been seen by people looking for something to buy, I have to be in the search result.

this is how it works, the sponsor gives you a chance to be seen on the third line in rotation. you might or might not be there at all. the link they give you is only a search term, but you might not be on that page. its hit or miss. and actually gives false reports to google, most links go to the search page these days, and eventually i do see google just kicking many links out.

your much better off pushing your own site and not the search. keep in mind that FAA, FAAporn, pixels and every other varient - also needs sponsored words, and in each medium. this is why a direct link will work in your favor.

Ah ok, I understand, this is just to be on the third line. It does not concern the others lines after.

So, how do the others manage to appear on the others lines?

How do you know if your image appear on a search result and on which page?

you have to be a best seller. that's how you get on the main pages. you won't know if the image appears or not. the sponsors work like this:

you have a cow, and you want people to see it. so you get the link and now you have the potential at being seen. however 8000 other people also have the word cow, so you will then cycle and maybe be shown at some point in history. the more people that come on here, the less likely you'll be seen.

sometimes the search throws you a bone and it takes something from your gallery and places it on the front page, sort of like a control. and if you get a sale, your rank changes. you'll never know where or when it will happen. but i've found my own work listed on a certain page in google and i was not there at all.

if you have a rare word - something no one else has at all, then you'll have a higher chance at being seen as a sponsor.... however if its a rare word, you'll still be on the first few pages anyway, so that would be a waste of time.

so in the end, it only pays for you to link directly. the sponsors are here to give you hope, but mostly its for the rank of this site with lots of links in. but google is getting savvy and i think those will drop out sooner or later.

best to advertise the site where ever you can, give good keywords, titles and descriptions and rely on google more than the internal search.

right now you don't really have descriptions. and your keywords lack as well. it would be hard to find you even in google unless they knew your name.

what would help the sale better is if you explained what we are looking at. while that was poetic, it wouldn't help people find that image. like that can be your first line, but then explain why you made it the way you did. google wants content, and that is really the only place you can add the content. still though your best to advertise outside the site.

Itīs very hard to draw people to your own website. And now, that you have a visitor, you give him a link, that leads him to a page, filled with competitors, only for the vague chance that some of your pictures appear on the first page? I donīt get it! Itīs a backlink machine for FAA, only.

The links appear first. Then a few people might click the button saying "back to the cube".
The cube disappears until you hit the button.
