Pricing Does Not Match

I have posted price for the original painting "Purple Crocus" as $500. When you do a keywork search for "purple crocus" and find my image it says the price of the orginal painting is $628 yet when you click on the image and go to my page it shows the proper price of $500. I don't want possible interested parties to see the wrong price. What can I do about this disparity. I also noticed that the pricing for cards was also different from the amount that was filled out on the form when they asked me to price my cards. Why do they not add up?

I did a search with your name and title to find the piece and saw the price as 500.00 on the search page. Not sure what might be happening...

OK. Sorry. I actually meant to say when I do a general search for Purple Crocus Painting and multiple images of all of the purple crocus paintings comes up and follow it down till you find my painting and there it says the price is $628 which is not the proper price of $500. I think that the most likely scenario is that someone looking for a purple crocus painting would do a generic search and would find the image this way as they do not know the names of artists doing the paintings and then when they find mine the price is not correct until they click on my image and get to my painting. Thank you for your interest in helping to resolve this issue. Also still wondering if anyone has had the issue of a discrepancy over the price of my share plus FAA share adding up for art cards and being different from the actual card price if you were to go onto FAA and purchase art cards.

Again I see it as 500

I guess it could be worse...many of my paintings' titles don't show up at all :(

Angela - you're seeing the price in Canadian dollars - that explains why US users are seeing $500 and you are seeing it at $628.

At the very bottom of the site is a currency selector. You can change it to USD and you'd see what they are seeing.

Hope that helps!

PS - It's somewhat confusing that it would show CAD in the search results but USD on the art page itself. It seems like they should be the same but apparently they only do the currency conversion for originals in the search results. I'm not sure if changing that would be considered a bug fix or a suggestion. It might be worth writing to tech support about it and see what their feedback is on that discrepancy. If you go to "about" at the top and then contact us in the drop down menu. After that choose technical support.

OK. Great Mark. That seems to be the best reason for all of the disparities in price. I will check in to the currency selector. Thanks.
