Longer Tweets

Do you find it hard to write in just under 140 characters?

Tall Tweets might just be your solution.

I have no connection to them but did come across it today and thought I would share.

Jeffrey,

I tried twice to see the video. Each time I got an ad for Infinity that would not roll over
to the video on Tall Tweets. It just stops and does nothing.

I get the concept. It is interesting. I dont know if I will need it....yet....

Thanks,

Dave

fixed that..sorry...

Video? Jim?

Okay I just checked and the video they have on YouTube appears to work fine. I didn't even watch the video to begin with as it appears that the site is rather straight forward. You type in your tweet and if it is longer than 140 characters you can have it send as a photo or have it sent in several tweets. I did one with the photo option.

Still not sure who Jim is....

Jeffrey,

I like the product. I will add it as an app. Dont know when I will use it yet.

I was just searching through my profile controls. I have Twitter Analytics. I did not know that.

Do you use your analytics page?

Dave

i manage. people have a very short attention span, make it too long and the message will be lost in a sea of text. if you need more space, just cut out the parts you don't need.

True but never hurts to give it ago ever so often for those times you want to type more so it makes since. :)

By the way will you be a Easter Bunny again this year or perhaps this time be an Easter Egg?

Now see you need to keep a spread sheet of all the ones you have created over the years. Hum perhaps create a calendar :)

i was thinking of making a "mike in review", showing each year what i was, but some of the months i was 2 things. and i don't know how many would want to buy these anyway. i have 45 total right now, not including the hidden mikes. cake mike, stained glass mike, weather vane mike, and so on.

Well you could do it for the fun of it. If nothing else set up a gallery called Mike A Retro Respective.

they are too small to really print, i think its like 600px long or something. i would have to put them all on one larger poster, i have to weigh out my time versus do i think it would sell and go from there.

Oh you got time. Just spend one day not in the forum and you will have time.

I went yesterday and bought another back up and that is what I am doing right now. Backing up files to it so I am doing some posting to social websites, having coffee, about to wash a load of cloths, work on some edits, and thinking about squeezing in a nap.

the other day i just back up all my LOC shots, 2600 files, made up 180gb of data. i have to backup 2013 stuff and remove the things i've made, i have to finish this colorization which is rather complicated. make an avatar for the next month, and start processing texture files, and gutting or editing files to make room for the next shooting season. i only stop in here to force myself to stop staring at the screen, well editing anyway.

Hmm...out of all those 'Mikes', at least no one can call Mike a Pansy. :D

to be called a pansy is actually an honor. those little flowers are very durable. they last the winter, storms, drought, too much water. they still keep growing. i've seen a foot of snow on them, and they were totally cool with that. daisies are kind of weak, but they have a center that's easy to push out and replace with something better.
