I Need Your Opinion About This Piece

I like the painterly quality of it, David....Give it a counter clockwise 90 degree flip...I think it works better as an abstract going horizontally with the light in the upper left corner.

I like the impressionistic look. They may be just a tiny bit on the dark side, but that could also be my lap top screen. Do you mind sharing what program/programs you use to get this type of effect?

This is all done by hand using Corel Painter 11

The main image The Wonder Tree makes red blooms the subject matter....on a tree.....

The detailed images actually all work. They are interesting. You get a real feel for the brush strokes and
you are not dissuaded by the fact of the larger brush/trees/leaves in the first main image.

It is a lot of very very good work, but the first image is problematic too a larger degree still.

All art is problematic. It all depends on where you want to stop the process.

excelent spackel, it reminds me of my house walls outside.

The detailed, or cropped images seem to work
particularly well for this image.
My take is you would be getting a lot of range from
this one image. It seems to lend itself to that use,
each separate frame looks good on its own.

I like it very much, too! (The first one.) Would hang it on my wall, for sure! As someone else said, I think it could be turned 90 degrees Left..... but think the strand of purplish flowers would need to be altered.

Yea and I can get other stand alone images from it.

Detail Wonder Tree 3 is my favourite.

I'd offer the detail images for sale.

A Little different treatment with texture. I don't like it as much.
