you can like your images, without a button. it won't help you at all, and it will make you look silly by liking only your own work. work liked by others may help you in the search a bit, but its doubtful it will count if you do it to your own.

Frederick, some believe it helps with search engine rankings. I personally think it's as useful as a dog circling around three times before lying down. For centuries that served to knock down the grass and make a comfy nest. But now it's just left-over instinct that serves no purpose.

Mike and Dan, I suspect your both right, it seemed like a futile move, but I'll wait a bit more to see what others pop up with.

A "like" on FAA should not show up in an activity feed whereas a "favorite" will. I tend to think it looks real silly for folks to favorite their own work and I have actually uinfollowed folks who do it too much. I don't believe liking your own work accomplishes much of anything though.

Your "likes" help us organize our search results.

Favorites I can understand, but who likes images doesn't seem to be visible to the outside world so if you like your own stuff it won't appear.
