Design Advice,please....

In a quandry whether to add a thin outline/edge to this....because I think for print, if whites 'disagree', then the thin black line will make the art look better,

Design ideas ONLY thank you

Thoughts? thanks.....The 'difference' (with/without) looks better on my profile page, fyi, if interested

naturally i said that and magically the image appeared.

i'm not sure where this line would be, but as it stands its kind of stretched looking up close.

Um, stretched? don't know what you mean, Mike, but thanks. It's difficult here to show the image upload without a border, which the image is in my files, but faa puts a border !!........Try to visualize it without the faa border......maybe this exercise answers the question quite quickly........it needs a little border, because it floats against say, a white canvas,or within a frame+matt..........

Keep it to design please, as requested. Thank you.

the edges have that soft look.

I would leave it loose (without the line) and let the image float freely to whatever its surrounds will turn out to be. Grant this image freedom, Viv.

Thank you, too, Ann........yes, that is where it began life.........free !

Thanks, Mike...that link shows the image sans border....glad you like it.

I like it better without the black outline. The outline almost gives it a 'generic' look. The white border is lovely and has a much better flow . Teeny

I agree, without!

Most definitely without the border.

How stunning to have a friendly consensus , dear friends.......thanks so very much..........removing the border certainly sets this free.....that's as it should be, in everything...and so, it will be here.

I really appreciate your responses......Cheers....
