Am I Ready To Sell? (image Link Fixed)

Clibrated monitor and did some evaluation prints at Bay photo. Brightness looks right but their Kodak Endura lustre paper seems to be a bit cool with a bit of green color cast. Should i Shell out the $18 bucks At FAA to test the pic, or not worry about it? Here"s the link to my Flickr Acct to view the image. Let me know what you think.

Steve,

Not sure that's the right link. Try this:

Sell Art Online

If the grays look neutral, then the screen is good and good enough. Most FAA products, with the exception of the greeting cards and sometimes the metal prints, will be right on. But if you are concerned, grab an image you like and get a print done from FAA and see for yourself. Send a nice image that has some neutrals or whites, not a sunset or anything, so you can accurately judge.......

i honestly never really cared about it, i calibrate the screen, upload, done. i can't worry too deeply because everyone looking has their own screen, and it will always look different.

the only way you'll know if your ready is if you actually post them. you can put them in the free account and send 25. looking over the work, it's nice, but i can't see up close, and more than that, they are a bit common looking, they don't pop as well as others do. you'll want to disable the large view on flickr, otherwise it's real easy to take the image.

I'm a big believer in monitor calibration. But not to be perfect and exact in matching the print because that kind perfection is impossible, but to be consistent in what I see when I'm going through my workflow. And to have a reasonable expectation of what the final print will look like. All that said, calibrate your monitor with what ever means you are comfortable with, then don't worry about the rest.

All that said, I'd worry more about the overall quality of what you put up. and I'm not being critical because trust me, your work is outstanding! Yes, you are ready to sell. Welcome to FAA!

Thanks for the great comments! Probably only about 30% of those images on my flickr account i feel would be good enough to even look at posting on my FAA account to sell.
I have decided that I will probably get a couple prints made just to verify image quality before I upload any to my site for sell.
