Which piece (title of painting) of Picasso's art were you thinking about when you did this?

i have no idea. even if it was, it doesn't mean its a real thing. you would have to bring it to an appraiser.

to be honest though, most of those look like gang symbols, so i'm thinking no.

Your signature in upside down! Was that intentional? It need to be cropped!

oh its upside down, maybe that's why i didn't recognize it...

oh your trying to sell this thing that's different. it won't sell like that. not with the cropping like it is and that its upside down like that. are you asking us if it looks like it should be a picasso? the answer is still no. you'll want more keywords - and no one will use the phrase - museum quality art, as a search phrase.

Sorry, I completely misunderstood. I thought she was asking if she had managed to successfully emulate Picasso... not if this is an actual Picasso. With the signature on it, it hadn't occurred to me she might be asking if this was done by Picasso.

Assuming this is a serious question...

If she wants to know if she came close to emulating Picasso, it would be useful to know which piece she intended to emulate.

i thought she was asking if this is a picasso, and she wanted it appraised. this is why there should be more text when people start new conversations.

Looks more like a Joan Miró inspired work.

Could be, but this artist has only one work posted on her profile, this one, and it's entitle "Picasso Would Be Proud."

I'm going to take her seriously-- unless she posts on this discussion thread and states otherwise.

I don't think she was, in fact, influenced by Miro in this case... but I do see what you're talking about - it looks more like Miro than Picasso.

Having seen about a hundred different Miro paintings and prints, it doesn't look like Miro to me. Doesn't look like Picasso to me either. But there are many unseen Picassos, I read recently that a descendent (daughter or grand daughter, can't recall) is slowly selling off the stockpile of literally hundreds of Picasso paintings (Picasso did gazillion prints and drawings, I think with the deliberate intent of printing money).

It does have a mid-20th century modern feel to it, sort of. Of course the date in the signature puts it at 2015.

Very funny about the signature and date being upside down. And 2015 in the upper left hand corner.

You are lucky it is not a knock off of a Picasso, because Picasso's estate would order it down.

It is like a really bad Miro haunted by an even worse Picasso.

Just so I dont fall into name and shame.....seriously??? Love it.
