Faa Quality

A few months ago I got an I-phone and ordered a case from FAA with an image of one of my paintings. I was very impressed with the quality of this product and it seems to be holding up very well. How about other products sold on this site, good experiences?

Great framed/matted prints, prints on rag, greeting cards.

I ordered a phone case for my wife's phone back in Dec. 2013, and the image is holding-up well. The case has a small broken piece that is close to the edge near a button (Galaxy S4), but other than that it's doing okay. I think the broken part came from the phone being removed from the case, as it fits snug, and is a pain to put on or take off, as it should be I guess.

I ordered a small metal print (one of my own pieces designed specifically for him) as a gift to commemorate the ethics of a lifelong professional nurse who has terminal cancer. It was a big hit, and is destined to be displayed at the funeral.

... no problems with image quality or mounting on my end. As I said, it was a big hit. I just wish the circumstances of its great appeal were a bit happier.

I want to place my first order of my own work to see how it looks. Am I paying my own markup price? It seems so. Shouldn't FAA know it's me?? Thanks.

I tried placing my order logged in and logged out and I got the same price both ways. Will give it another shot.

I recently ordered both prints and framed photos of my work and have been very pleased with the quality of the printing and framing. The one thing I noticed with the framed prints is that FAA uses clear acetate instead of glass -- that keeps the weight down, but it seems the acetate has more glare than glass.

I ordered a print and really like the quality- finally bought my first one from here. If FAA had more options for more cases, I would get one-but I don't have an iPhone or galaxy :(

Duh, me. I was in a hurry and guess I looked at the price with shipping.....blah, blah. Yes, of course, FAA knew to remove my markup!

Kevin McCarthy, I never knew about the acetate. My gut tells me this cheapens the look of the finished product. Your thoughts?

My order today was for a 16 x 24 acrylic print. Will let you know what I think when it arrives.

Susan, I wouldn't say cheapens, but my sense is there's more glare than glass that, depending on where the print is hung, could detract from the beauty of the image. One of two framed prints I ordered is hung opposite some windows and there's a lot of glare (the previous photo in that location had non-glare glass, so that was a big change). The second one is more protected from windows and the glare is not as noticeable.

Correction: I should have said acrylic, not acetate.

I ordered a phone case some time back (S4) and as Greg noted, and I have read other comments as well, the little piece by the button broke immediately. It was not caused by taking the case on and off ... must just be a weak point. Wasn't going to bother with a return ... super glued it twice -- looks crummy, but it is what it is I guess!

Wonder if that is a weakness just with the S4 design. I have a S5 and seems just fine.

Framed and matted prints have been great, unframed prints are great. Canvas is fantastic. I like the prints on acrylic but they're heavy. The aluminum is nice. I have not ordered pillows or duvets or phone cases.

I have 18 photographic art awards and have won all the ribbons with artworks which were printed and framed from Fine Art America in the last four years while I have been with FAA.
I cannot say enough about the high quality of printing done by FAA! But the awards speak for themselves as far as print and frame quality. The metal prints are my favorite, the depth and quality are beautiful!

I also ordered a metal print. Looked good although a tad dark.

I ordered both a metal print and canvas and the quality is excellent - really happy with both and the packaging was terrific - also ordered a couple cards and no problem there either

Broken phone cases is a troublesome thing.
Having your own design on a protective case is cool but shouldn't the top priority be to hold up and protect your very expensive piece of technology?
just sayin'....

... the packaging for shipping, ... I would like to complement this too -- very professionally done.

Marlene, at least as far as the case for the 5S goes it seems as sturdy as any I have seen.
