Any Tips For New Members?

I'm brand new to selling my digital artwork and I would be extremely grateful for any advice or help to get me started. :)

Your images are not big enough for most sizes. Find and read all the help stuff on this site. The elephant in Woodlands... is blurry at full resolution, not sure it would pass quality control for printing.
Anyway welcome to FAA it's a great place with people who can help.

i'm wondering where the rest of the fire is in this. give it a better description. this isn't a photo club its a store, the description makes it sound weak. tell us why the skull is on fire for example. add more keywords

i'm not sure where you got your source images from, so i won't go there, but the background is kind of noisy and parts of this look stretched out. it may not print. again add more keywords. though i do wonder how many elephants walk in a forest like that.

If you have not done already, please take our tour http://fineartamerica.com/tourfineartamerica/introduction.html ( http://pixels.com/tourfineartamerica/introduction.html for Pixels users) as that will answer most questions you may have about the site
Then read our Terms of Use http://fineartamerica.com/termsofuse.html ( http://pixels.com/termsofuse.html for Pixels users)to make sure you understand what we require of you and what you may require of us ;)

You will need PayPal to receive payments and the images will need to be of printable quality before you upload

They need to be under 25mb and jpg or png. Adobe RGB or sRGB Images should be over 800 pixels but there is no maximum size. If the images are over 25mb then you can shrink the image down slightly or compress down to 10. Never upload enlarged images (that is making the pixels more than you have normally) as we will probably not pass it in QC if you sell.

All members should read this thread http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=432109 ( http://pixels.com/showmessages.php?messageid=432109 for Pixels users)

Please note that we do not do ANY quality control unless you get an order, so you must make sure the images are top quality before uploading. You do this by 'VIEW'ing the work in your editor at 100% and going over it completely looking for blurriness or blockiness.

If you wish to test the quality of the prints you may buy your own work at base cost

When logged in you are seeing the prices you would pay if you wanted to buy your own work so do not panic if they are lower than you have put in :)

Basically, all you really need to do is decide what YOU want to earn and then put that in the spaces provided

When registered and logged in, on the top right menu there is a drop down with everything you need for the site

BEHIND THE SCENES is for all the tools you need to set the site up and PROFILE is where your site is.

I think that just about covers what most new people ask. Hope this helps. Customer Support is for when you purchase prints and need help. Technical Support is for artist members and account and usage help
