Signature Size

I've decided to electronically sign my images. After all, if they are offered for sale as art, shouldn't they be signed as art? I've decided on a format that I'll use every time.
It was a tough decision; haven't signed individual prints in the past.
Now I wonder how big to sign? It's so hard to imagine what it's going to look like once printed. Too big is ugly, too small is pointless.
I have a couple of pieces posted - feedback appreciated before I put more up.

I digitally sign my work - they are generally marked in the bottom right corner - 1 inch in and one inch up (in case someone wants to mirror wrap a canvas) - I have been using a different font each year.

I think this is one you can see:

you don't want it large, or block print. they won't print it. i keep it small around 60pt, and faded to like 30% in the lower right corner. small is fine as long as they can see it later. what's useless is shoving it in the deep corner where the frame may overlap it.

the size you have should be ok.

though you'll want more keywords than that. be sure not to enlarge pieces, i couldn't see the flower image, but it looked rather huge, the dogs seem soft, despite being done that way.

There are many discussions about an digital addition which does NOT appear ! (Yes the famous watermarks)
So why doing additions which WILL appear ?
Only my opinion: ORIGINAL signatures are for originals. I as a customer would not like any printed signature on any bought print. I would not buy for this reason.

I sign mine in lower left corner,,,,because the FAA watermarc overrides it if is in the right corner, I keep a sig within Preview on the IMAC and just add it when I upload, I can change the color to match the painting, Try to use a font style that is signature style ,,,I can actually create my sig on preview within iPhoto but my signature basically "sucks,,,so I use a font that is signature style,,,see example

Prints should probably not be signed as part of image. Under no circumstance should you use standard typeface or include a copyright symbol in your signature unless it's a photograph where this practice is more accepted. QC can and will reject signatures too large, or in standard font/typefaces or with copyright symbols if deemed visually intrusive. If you are selling prints of original hand painted artwork which you have signed with brush or pen it will be ok.

None of the images in this thread are a problem so far
