Draw Line Between Information - Advertisement

At what point does information become advertisement? Where do you draw the line? IS there a clear line? Is it contextual?

Is THIS an advertisement?

They can both be the same thing. Perhaps the question is when does either become annoying?

Advertisements are more about propaganda where as art with information or content is more about self expression.

infotisement

Yeah, Dan T., it really gets annoying sometimes when we give up trying to make distinctions and just create new hybrid terminology to embrace two entities simultaneously in the new hybrid.

Case in point, infotainment

Sometimes stubborn categorization is more beneficial.

Imagine a brain surgeon who tries to combine cooking in the operating room. What might we call THAT - Neuroculinarostomy?
