Missing Or Bad Css ?

I got this link from another thread.

I've looked at it in different browsers and it always seems to format as if css is missing or not working.

Just wondering if something should be said about it.

Yes, it's a misroute. It's going to a style sheet only the path isn't specified.

It looks more like someone chopped up the link to a search that should be like this:

http://fineartamerica.com/art/all/scarf/all - i.e. it's missing what should be at the end.... /all or a product like /framed+prints etc.

I'm not sure how common a messed up link like that is, but if it happened often enough, it might be a good idea to have a mechanism to move the user on to the default of alll.

Sharp eyes, Mark. Didn't even see it wasn't a page. Just went strait to source.

Scarves?

Melany the original link was from another thread where an artist was looking for one of her works that featured a scarf :-) I thought the same thing at first :-)

it might be a good idea to have a mechanism to move the user on to the default of alll.

If by "default of all" you mean removing the keyword "scarf", that does not work:

Neither does going back to the root of "art":
http://fineartamerica.com/art/

I think the advice of improving bad link trapping and sending the user back to a default page or a 404 not found page is good advice.

It appears FAA is aware of it, and if judged important enough, it will be forwarded to programming.

closing now.

Edit: actually, I just noticed the page is actually titled "page not found." It appears it was not properly sent to the default 404 page not found template. Easy enough to fix.
