How Can I Make Fineartamerica Work For Me?

So, I have been a part of the Fine Art America family for a little while now. Somehow, I feel like the black sheep of the family because I have very few viewers and am wondering how do I get more?

You need to promote your images via social media like Facebook, Twitter, Google+,blogging, etc.

Hello Denise. You have some interesting photos. David is correct. You have to push and market your photos. There are so many talented artists on FAA that FAA doesn't work for you, you have to work to promote your work. You have to get people to your site. You also need more photos. 6 photos is a needle in a haystack on here. Get involved with other artists by commenting/following/joining groups/ joining contests. Every little thing that will help get your name out there doesn't hurt.

Seven images is a drop in the ocean. Thousands uploaded daily. Before you promote you have to have inventory.

you only have 7 images. you should have a lot more. you need to find people and advertise to them, they won't come to you. you have very few keywords. your bio is in the third and first person, pick one. it should be first btw.

you have to figure out who your art will be for.

If it was as easy as uploading images and then sitting back and waiting for the sales to roll in, we'd all be happy campers!

I have been a member since mid-2011. I have had 10,000+ views and exactly one sale. Both are small potatoes around here. FAA doesn't really work for you until it comes time to fulfill an order. Until then, YOU work for yourself by promoting and marketing your images.
