Glitch - Images Take Forever To Show Up On Portfolio

Once images do show up many minutes later...if you hit "refresh" same thing happens...takes a VERY LONG time for them to show back up.

There was a problem with that earlier but now its back to normal for me.

Was just wondering about this...

Same problem on my phone. Takes forever.

Jessica...I just clicked on your avatar...it defaults to galleries and everything showed up. Then I clicked "images" and I get the big white empty space staring at me.....your images are not loading properly either.

Sharon, from my computer all images are loading normally. What browser are you using? I had the same problem earlier. Now it's fine.

I am in Firefox...my phone is an Android...Let me try it it Chrome.

Chrome does the same thing.

I will try it on my daughter's i-phone and Hubby's android...but so far the problem is on all devices regardless of the Browser. I still cannot see your images when I click "images".

Even weirder is that when it is spinning and trying to load if I click on "Galleries" for a split second the images show up before it takes me to galleries, but if I back click, it is a white screen again.

ALL browsers....ALL devices......SAME problem. "Images" do not load properly...........takes 3 minutes on my computer before they load (I timed it!). This will reduce sales as people like to browse images of an artist they like. When nothing comes up, they will leave FAA...perhaps never to return......

It's been like this for two weeks for me. Images never loads at all. Galleries have only been working, but is slow. I thought I was the only one because of my slow dial-up connection. Gives me relief to know it's not just me, and might eventually revert to normal at some future point. Patience is the key for me.

I just had the same experience. Panic time for a new member trying to find out why images don't show!

Mine is taking about 10 seconds to load right now.

At "Who's Online", only the top half avatars load.....the rest are empty boxes. Ffox

Abbie warned us that we were going to experience growing pains through the month of march, this is probably just one of them.

It's February. It gets worse?? Beware the ides of March...

I am having the same problem on my end, nothing is showing up when landing on image page but fine when landing on galleries. I've noticed it with other artists pages as well.

I am seeing the same thing. Luckily I have been around here long enough that I don't panic. But if I were new or a buyer, I would get pretty antsy.

BIG white space, yes. No matter whose gallery I check out, I get the same thing, white space. The 'Favorites', etc., are showing up, but not the 'Images' pages. I'll just cross fingers & check back in later today? Hmm.

As a buyer...I'd move on. It's been this way all day. Hoping someone from FAA looks into it!

I just started having the same problem - white space and takes a long time for images to load on every page. I'm up in the high country of Colorado and we are preparing for a big snow storm so I get plenty of white. :o)

Carol, you're loading up fine ...Images,Galleries, all quickly loaded........and look how far they have to travel !!!! Don't worry.....keep warm, xV

Trying to post comments via the activity stream - all day only receive "please wait" with endless streaming of blue lines......and no comment posted - ugh - FAA super slow today!

I'm experiencing the same slowness on my images. I'm in Virginia, so I don't believe that location or weather is playing a role in this.

i mentioned it to bugs earlier today. if you hit ESC it will stop and let you see it all. couldn't be good for sales though.

Same problem for me in Virginia. Was happening last night too. I just changed my default tab to Galleries for the time being!

Stumbleupon isn't working today.....I tried using it for my blog and another site. I wonder if Stumbleupon is causing the issue?

yes, SU is slowing the site down with their code we have on the site

I just checked and both Galleries and Images are loading immediately. I am in Australia and use Safari.

All better today. :) And SU is working too...

SAME Issue AGAIN Today! When you go to someone's portfolio if it defaults to "images" they do not load....of if you click on "images". "Galleries" work fine.

And STUMBLEUPON isn't working just like last time. Maybe it's time to get rid of Stumbleupon? People can still Stumble. You just enable the Stumble button on your computer as I do that for another site that got rid of it. LOST SALES is no fun. :(

Last time sales came to a grinding halt. Same this time. Stumble doesn't seem worth it. I am having GREAT success with Wanelo!

I have been having all sorts of problems with images loading and even getting to peoples galleries by clicking on their avatar.

I am working on a project away from FAA so I have not time to get into to it. But I do see others reporting the same thing more often.

Not sure what is going on. The problem seems to be intermittent.
