Shop Now - Fb

I really like the "Call to action" buttons on FB. I have my "Shop Now" set to go to AW site.

This "call to action" buttons are nice. But I still havenīt used in my facebook fanpages.

Ok at the risk of sounding completely stupid...what's a call to action button?

Thanks, Abbie. I just created mine. I also used "Shop Now" It's located on the cover photo.

If you have a FB business page, Lara, go look at it. At the bottom of your cover photo there is a new button, next to the Like and Message buttons. Click on it and it gives you options on setting up a way for people to shop right from there.

Jessica, yes, I do have several FB pages... and now I see the "Call to Action" thing but haven't checked it out yet... my hubby got that "rolled out" to his page before I did but I now have it too, I see. BTW, FB changed their "search" system and I have gotten a couple hundred more 'likes' on my page, which I am thrilled about...and they seem to be people who "fit" with my pages theme.

Okay, I just set it up to be sent directly to my www.Artist4God.net page as I have so many POD's and the links are all on my website. Can I add a different link for them to be sent to the FAA Ap? (if we have one)

Okay, I set it up but received the following message when I was "testing" the button connection:

"This Connection is Untrusted"

"...greg-jackson.artistwebsites.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: fineartamerica.com, www.fineartamerica.com (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)..."


Is this message due to everything being connected to FAA? Will potential customers receive the message when they click on the "Shop Now" button?

Greg, It shouldn't be giving that. Others are using theirs with no issue. I will see what I can find out.

I had no problems with it! I was also oblivious to all this as I was tying to take 90 days off FB. So, thanks for that!

Okay so it appears that they have finally made it universal. There for a bit some of us could set it up and others didn't see it at all where to set it up.

I didn't go through with enabling the button once I saw the warning. I'll try it again shortly and see what happens.

Okay, just went back and checked it. I had the url wrong, as I had added an "s" at the end of the http in the AW url. Deleted that and it's all good now. :)
